I recently stayed at a cozy and affordable accommodation in the heart of the city center. Peter's Hostel exceeded my expectations with its convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. The hostel offered a delightful terrace where I could relax and enjoy the nice view. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a great place to rest after a day of exploring. Additionally, the owner, Peter, was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I also appreciated the option to join their breakfast buffet for an extra 5 soles per person, which included a variety of delicious items like coffee, tea, juice, yogurt. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
Honestly, there wasn't anything not to like. 😊

The hostel is conveniently located in the city center, just a short walk from the main square. There is a supermarket nearby for your convenience. the staff are friendly and helpful, providing good tips on local specialties to try in the area. There is also a nice rooftop area with tables where you can enjoy the sun.
The hot water in the showers can be unreliable, especially if it's not sunny outside.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent, with clean and basic rooms and a comfortable terrace area. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Plaza de Armas, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better was if they offered a wider variety of options.

We had a fantastic stay at Peter's Hostel! Our purpose was to explore the city and its surrounding areas, and we couldn't have asked for a better base. The location was ideal, right beside the main square and within walking distance of the market. The staff, especially Daniel, were incredibly helpful and provided us with great recommendations for activities and even helped us get a sim card. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved the rooftop with its charming table and panoramic view. We also appreciated the ecological aspect, with solar energy powering the hostel. a great experience!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had a great experience staying at a hostel in Arequipa. The staff, particularly Peter and Doretha, were amazing. They were welcoming, helpful, friendly, and funny. The beds were very comfortable and there were lockers in the room. One of the best things about this place is that they offer early check-in, which was really convenient. They even have a rooftop terrace where you can prepare meals in the small, but satisfying kitchen. And to top it off, they have the cutest little kitten and puppy. it was a fantastic stay!
No issues! 😊

The staff were friendly and helpful, even recommending places for me to get my laundry done and print off tickets. The hostel had a lovely rooftop terrace where I could relax and enjoy a drink. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Additionally, for a small fee, I was able to join their delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of options to choose from.
I do recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel was great, being close to the main square and within walking distance of attractions such as the monastery and Alpaca Mundo. It was also convenient to have a supermarket and plenty of eateries nearby. The staff was helpful and accommodating, allowing me to store my luggage and arranging a taxi for me. The outdoor terrace was a nice place to relax and unwind.
There were several negative aspects to my stay. The hostel's kitchen was very basic and lacked essential equipment, such as a knife sharpener and an adequate number of cups and mugs.

The rooftop room had access to two full bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and fridge. the bed had the softest sheets I've ever slept on. the manager was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us a room to rest in as soon as we arrived and providing us with a bag of fresh bread for our early departure. the location was perfect, right beside the main square where all activities and tours meet up. Walking distance to the market as well.
The internet was unreliable at times and the noise from the nearby club could be bothersome at night. the kitchen could have been better equipped.
